Kung Fu Grades...

Siu Lum Gars Kung Fu students are graded to eight different levels:-

• White Sash
• Yellow Sash
• Orange Sash
• Purple Sash
• Green Sash
• Blue Sash
• Brown Sash
• Black Sash

White sash being the lowest grade and Black sash the highest. The students grade is shown by a coloured sash worn around their waist. For each grade the student must accomplish and show their competency in given stances, hand and foot techniques, fitness, flexibility, gymnastics, sparring and also weapon control and form. Higher grades require students to participate in plastic board, wood and tile breaking.
